X-108 Info Advanced Menu Settings

    Sorry Chuck, I was wondering the same thing!

    While talking about the Advanced menu, I see that the Contrast option that is shown in the manual, simply isn't there in my rig. Is it perhaps becuase the later models have an OLED screen?

    Also changing the brightness setting down from 100% to 30% has no noticable affect on the screen brightmess - is anyone else seeing this as well or do I have a faulty rig/display?

    Can anyone explain the relationships between CW IF freq and CW BFO freq? When I try to change CW BFO freq it always defaults back to the same figure as CW IF. In other words I can't seem to save my changes to CW BFO freq and it is always the same as CW IF, as if there us a firmware fault.
    Any Ideas?

    The usual laws of demodulation don't seem to apply. ( IF - BFO = audio frequency. )
