X-108 Info Antenna for vessel (1 Viewer)

I try to use this little X108G in a sailing vessel, so easy to set up a long up to 17 meter antenna to the mast top andplenty of salty water around

Is there any of you that has made such an attempt and if so, what type of antenna did you use ?

Is it possible to couple the X108G with an automatic antenna tuner and if yes what make would work, for example an ICOM AT ?

what has been your experience in sea offshore use ?
