I have recently purchased a CS-108G (like a X108G) that works great but notice a couple of things and was curious if anyone else has been using one of these radios. The Noise blanker seems to do nothing when I switch between the different levels. Is the noise blanker optional in the X108G? I have never even seen the boards for sale. I have sent a email to the service people to see if it is optional in the radio or is just not much of a NB. I also notice that when I key down there is a spike in power out which drops back right away in sideband. Anyway it seems like a good radio just curious if others have any thoughts on these issues. Thanks Steve

Well, you're lucky. I turn the noise blanker on (1,2 or 3) and it squeals obnoxiously. This is the second X108G and both did that.

I would check out your radios. Both of my noise blankers work as advertised.
