X-108 Info Just bought, and a Question (1 Viewer)

I just purchased an X-108G Outdoor, hope to have it in a couple of days.

I have read that this radio will not transmit, out of the box, on the entire 10 meter band. Is this so? If so, will the MARS mod open up TX to allow 29 Mhz FM?

At the same time, is there anything in particular that I should watch out for? I have been using an original SGC SG-2020 (non-ADSP) for years on QRP, and look forward to a few more "bells & whistles" in the wild.

Never mind, no FM. That will teach me to read all the specs first!

I am guessing though, that for what I will use it for that it will be perfectly acceptable.
