OK friend, i found it. This is the latest firmware that i have installed, my sticker is CXG 10767 so it works to your Xiegu. Remember to tkae a picture or a note of the factory settings by pressing the F1 and hold it when turn on the radio until the info appears. In the file there is an instruction PDF
Thanks for the effort. I saw that but what threw me is the April 13, 2016 date stamp on the .xgf file for v2.00.1 build 10. When I power up my X-108G outdoor version I see: v1.0.0.4 with a date of March 8, 2017. What am I missing that an apparently earlier version of the firmware has a later date? Or is the date that shows up on the startup screen when that particular version was installed by a previous owner? Sorry for the delay in replying. For some reason Outlook is sending all of the emails from this forum to the spam folder when it did not used to.
Hello. I assume that the date that appears on the screen is the valid one, I installed this version and it also appears v1.0.0.4 but dated May 7, 2017. I think the latest version available, I have searched more but with no good results. This file solved a problem that I had in the TX, it generated a noise for a couple of seconds. Successes with the installation. *English is not my mother tongue, sorry for mistakes.
Whoops. I installed v2.00 build 10 before seeing this. It took me backwards to 2016 and now shows v1.00.3. I saved off the original firmware.bin file but that is not helping me get back to v1.00.4 Oh, well.
Ahh, thanks! I missed that the file you attached to your message is in fact a bit later than the versions posted here. Yours has the "1" in the file name as in 2.00.1. I successfully installed yours and now my SWR function is back. Whew.
So is the one posted here in the thread the latest file for this radio? I just received the 108 and it has not been updated (demo Unit)
Hello. Have you bought the x108g second hand? This is the only version that I have found that is according to the serial number of my radio, you must pay attention to that in order to update your equipment, it is not only to install any version.
I just did the update and it appears to be working fine. I had a little issue with t he USB on my yoga but moved over to my win 10 desktop and it worked perfectly. I want to thank everyone for all the post on this radio as I was just given it and wanted to test it out. It looks like it will be a fun radio to play with.
