My area is very noisy. It frequently reaches S8-9 levels. To date, I've had difficulty SSB with other operators. I've succeeded with a range of about 1600km at 20m and 100W power. I use an EFHW tuned for 3 bands (10-20-40) in combination with the Yaesu FT-450, no tuner needed.

Therefore, I only frequently operate in digital mode with 10W power.

I also tested the X106G operating the FT-8 and the results were good.
