OK, I found out then when switched off the default mode appears to be AGC OFF so no receive meter movement so by switching on the AGC the S meter works fine. Still need help with it reverting back to default mode. Thanks, Adam

Hi guys, I am new to the forum, got the latest X108G today (used but nice). I see 2 problems: a) When I turn off radio and turn it on it defaults to 14.270 and LSB. Power is still connected, I am merely turning the radio on and off. b) S meter does not seem to move on receive. It sits at 1 bar...

Hi guys, new here...The mod says to take off the back panel but the SO-239 is attached, do you really have to take off the back panel? Thanks, Adam
