Curious if you ever found it? I just received an X108 and the Small Signal board is not what is published. I am wondering if mine is a non G version. It is SN XG00069

I am trying to troubleshoot the receiver (transmitter works perfect) on a new to me X108. The radio is very low S/N, 0069 and the board layout is different from what is published. The ADE-1 is not near the speaker, it is on the edge of the board. See picture. I suspect the problem is near...

Here are some pictures of the battery area for the older one. I almost deleted them.

My radio already had zero volts coming out of the old battery so every time that I turned it on.... it came up with (I think) 14.270 LSB, LOL. As soon as I put the new battery in, it held the last VFO channel, all memories etc. Good luck de Frank KG9H

So before you seek out the elusive Seiko Instruments MS920SE FL27E battery for your X-108G.... like I did ..... I waited until I got the new battery before opening up my X-108G... My new to me radio does not have that battery in it!!! It has CR1220, 3V Lithium! Go figure. de frank KG9H Oh my...

Adam, I am close to you in Florida where did you get the replacement battery and what model is it?

It seems there are two lithium batteries in the X-108G. I think the one in the picture is for the RAM for operation of the radio. de Frank KG9H

I purchased this unit used from a ham in 2 land. He included the USB jack that "he stated just fell off". Is it hard to solder back on? I am Frank, KG9H
