Works as shown effortlessly.This enhancement was done as I decided that I had had quite enough of the Loose usb jack disconnecting from the P.C. Rig control software during operation, so I called and ordered a higher quality solid mount ,Also Powerpoles and a fusible mounting bracket to replace the simulated D.C. input that it came from the factory with. Also while open I improved the board to case grounding wherever possible.I noticed as well the Rj45 plug was loose and had a visible cold solder joint.So 100% Q5 rig after a couple months now and the Receive static floor level is a solid 3db lower since then.

Not that I am aware of.Most of R.F. is 20 ft. above 2nd. story roofline,and I am properly earth grounded,and 3KW L.P.F. inline after SB-220,and before swithchbox and RF Choke.I speak to them a couple x a week with no mention.Maybe just good neighbors??IDK?

Okay, one more question, what sort of backup battery is that on the picture?
I must change it for a new one, and it seems like a CR2016, or a CR2032.

It seems there are two lithium batteries in the X-108G. I think the one in the picture is for the RAM for operation of the radio. de Frank KG9H
