FAQ Help with X108G just received (1 Viewer)

Hi guys, I am new to the forum, got the latest X108G today (used but nice). I see 2 problems:

a) When I turn off radio and turn it on it defaults to 14.270 and LSB. Power is still connected, I am merely turning the radio on and off.

b) S meter does not seem to move on receive. It sits at 1 bar and does not move, even on strong signals but I know the meter works because on XMIT it can deflect to full scale.

I did not get the manual but will download shortly.

Any help appreciated.

OK, I found out then when switched off the default mode appears to be AGC OFF so no receive meter movement so by switching on the AGC the S meter works fine. Still need help with it reverting back to default mode. Thanks, Adam

Hi all, it turns out that the internal battery is dead so I will replace it. Adam
